Cryo-Save Group

Cryo-Save Group is active in cord blood banking since 2000 and has a leading position in this field in Europe. The Cryo-Save Group is active in different European countries and is focusing its strategy on cell banking applications.
As service provider in stem cell banking, Cryo-Save Group stores umbilical cord blood stem cells and bone marrow stem cells. The group has about 40 employees, and has extensive expertise in banking technology and cryopreservation of biological material.
Because of the growing activities in cell therapy more developments are done towards application on SC therapies (expansion CD34).
 |
| Stem cell banking will need more appropriate technologies in cryopreservation |
Activities are focused on:
- Stem cell banking: cryopreservation of stem cells of different sources, mainly UCB
- The quality criteria which are important in banking systems
- International technology transfer of stem cell banking
- Development of a cell culture system to maintain and cryopreserve different cell types.
